We are currently offering the opportunity for dynamic and engaging individuals to join our Service team that will support Schwab Intelligent Portfolios and Schwab Intelligent Advisory. Our Service Professionals inspire client loyalty by being the ?voice of Schwab? for our clients, supporting and complementing our Branch partners who are the ?face of Schwab?. Our team members handle over 9.5 million client calls annually allowing us the opportunity to build personalized relationships with each client through meaningful dialogue. What you?ll do:
As a Financial Service Professional, you will expand the company?s relationships with clients by providing world class service through chat, email and phone channels. You will also work collaboratively with other representatives and managers in cross-team initiatives to improve the organization and the chat business model.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of the markets, empathy, energy, and problem solving while delivering unparalleled value and outstanding service to our clients.
+ Provide world-class client service and support by handling day-to-day service requests via phone, chat and email
+ Respond to client requests on how to schedule a Schwab Investment Advisory appointment and complete the online planning experience
+ Respond to client research requests including cost basis information, cashiering functions, letters of authorization, powers of attorney, product knowledge support and expanding client experience.
+ Assess and discuss client issues, helping them navigate Schwab?s investment products and services including stocks and options, bonds and fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, CDs & money markets, margin loans, and annuities.
+ Provide investment education to our clients to empower them to make well-informed financial decisions, and understand when an question or client concern may warrant a more in-depth conversation with a Schwab Intelligent Advisory Planning Consultant.
+ Uncover client development opportunities and respond to research requests.
+ Be part of an environment where you will collaborate with others on a small team of up to 15 Schwab professionals to resolve complex client inquiries and knowledge of Schwab products and services.
+ Engage within a business model comprised of highly motivated individuals that are able to adjust and adapt within a fast-paced and continually changing business environment.
What you have:
+ Active FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses
+ Minimum 1 year of service center experience
+ Well-developed and effective writing skills (required)
+ Ability to multi-task and process concurrent chats (required)
+ Ability to deliver a high level of customer service via Client Chat, Email, and phone (required)
+ Moxie platform experience (preferred)
+ Knowledge of Communication with the Public (CWTP) policies and procedures
+ Excellent typing skills and proficiency in serving multiple clients concurrently
+ Demonstrated passion for service and financial markets; strong client-focus and the desire to build relationships during each interaction.
+ Able to use non-verbal cues to better understand the client?s needs and motivations; able to empathize with others' needs and respond sensitively; able to use good judgment when responding, and take action in order to successfully meet the client?s objectives.
+ Able to quickly learn new technology and utilize a variety of data and systems in order to proactively identify solutions to client financial needs.
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in order to adhere to policies, procedures and guidelines.
+ Proven work ethic with a high level of integrity to build trust with our clients and colleagues.
+ Proactive outlook demonstrated by taking ownership, engaging with business needs, seeking/sharing innovative solutions, and displaying initiative.
+ Collaborative and relationship-focused work style with demonstrated success in a team environment.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially the ability to learn and explain complicated subjects, build quality, long-term relationships, and conduct needs-based conversations with a variety of clients.
+ Established technical skills with the ability to easily utilize multiple applications simultaneously.
+ Able to adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve.

+ Able to work in a structured schedule and a variety of shifts, which may include market (M-F daytime) hours, late nights, early mornings, and/or weekends as pre-determined by business need.
+ Bachelor?s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related area (preferred).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
