Our Job Opportunity
CoreLogic is currently seeking a Contracts Assistant to join our team in Westlake, TX.
The Contracts Assistant position will provide support to the Default Technology Group in the creation and management of contracts and legal agreements. Activities will include managing the contract lifecycle with follow-up and tracking of status with legal and business leaders, as well as including inquiries across internal teams/functions and follow-up with the client, as required. In addition, this position is responsible for adhering to corporate/legal and team processes and procedures, quality standards and tight deadlines.
Job Duties:
- Manage the contract lifecycle, meet Service Level Agreements and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance to Corporate, Legal, Team and external processes, procedures and standards.
- Facilitate the execution of new contracts and agreements, including coordinate of activities between internal support groups and clients.
- Efficiently handle contract/agreement renewals and terminations, meeting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate contract/agreement tracking repository, produce weekly status reports for business leadership team.
- Develop a repository of standard contract/agreement templates that can be used for consistency.
- Support the Client Engagement team, including Client Managers, Client-Vendor Manager and Billing Manager in all contract/agreement related activities, as required.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail
- Document editing skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Highly versed in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel and SharePoint
- Experience working with legal documents strongly preferred
- Experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) contracts strongly preferred
- Current Paralegal Certification strongly preferred
- Mortgage industry background preferred
- Consulting background preferred
- Three to five years of experience in a Contracts Assistant role

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
