We have an urgent position for a Senior Software Engineer (Java& Appian)- NC, NH, TX Note:
Need someone who has a solid Java Backend developer with extensive Appian experience.
Senior Software EngineerThe RoleWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in creating innovative customer-centric products and applications for both external and internal Fidelity customers.
In this role, the software developer will be responsible for doing hands-on development as well as helping to create a product roadmap and strategy.
This person will play a key role in building, testing and release of product features in an Agile delivery fashion.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience 5
years of hands-on software development experience in a service-oriented environment using Java technologies.
Knowledge of Appian standard processes and design principles.
Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues.
Explains technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients.
Performs systems analysis activities.
Experience with Git-based version control.
Experience with Record-Centric design.
Technical proficiency with Relational databases.
Appian Level 2 Credential is preferred.
Experience writing automated test cases using Fitnesse.
Experience with building Custom Smart Service Plugins is a plus.
The Skills You Bring Experience with:
Git, Java, Jenkins, Docker Ability to communicate successfully with the tech lead, team members, and the squad/ chapter lead Should possess an open approach, help the team grow, and be a quick learner in case of new technologies Ability to work in an agile environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong Interpersonal communication skills.
