We are a family owned shop and are looking for someone who has experience as lead barista to come in and take care of all the day to day duties of the shop as well as help us grow.
The Barista will be responsible for the following:
Ensuring consistent and smooth overall operations of the shop, from food and drink preparation to customer service Assisting with managing inventory Ensuring proper maintenance of shop equipment and furniture Coordination of events scheduling and planning as needed during shifts Continuous upkeep of the shop and enforcement of policies and procedures Vested interest in the shop and willingness to always look out for the best outcome for the business Assistance with continuous improvements in menu items and ideas for seasonal drinks and food related items Assistance with reducing wastage Training fellow barista's as needed and sharing knowledge Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
At least 1
years of Barista experience required Experience in any food & beverage service required at minimum Knowledge of coffee and different methods of coffee preparation, and proper espresso preparation preferred Demonstrated adaptability and teach-ability in new situations Excellent people skills Strong organizational skills This will be an hourly position with tips and expected to work an average of 15-35 hours a week, including weekend hours.
