Responsibilities:
Perform administrative work to ensure the smooth operation of a medical office.
Serve patients by welcoming them, answering questions, and providing information on treatment plans and procedures.
Perform basic medical duties, such as taking vital signs, recording symptoms and conditions, and completing insurance forms.
Maintain the cleanliness of exam rooms and equipment.
Assist physicians by preparing patients for treatment, maintaining examination room supplies, taking x-rays, drawing blood, and administering injections.
Be familiar with state and Federal medical laws and assist office staff in complying with them.
