The TeamAt Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations Technology (FFIO), we support trade processing, trade settlements, corporate actions, income collection, cash management, cash and position reconciliations, securities lending, and transfer agent control and reconciliation. Our team supports specifically capture and deliver of financial messages along with money movement to/from internal clients and the custodian banks/counter parties.u00A0The RoleThe perfect candidate is a forward-looking self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This individual must combine their collaborative and customer focused mentality with solid analytical and development skills to provide creative and complete solutions to complex business and technical problems. We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will develop and improve software applications using Java, Spring and Oracle using the agile methodology!u00A0The Expertise You Have Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area. 9
years of development experience (currently hands on) in Java, Spring MVC / Spring Core / Web Services (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers. Proven experience in software engineering especially in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Working experience in Test/Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD) DevOps/CICD experience (Jenkins, uDeploy, GIT) is preferred. Experience with IBM MQ and hands on experience in Linux is preferred. Familiarity with Agile software development practices. Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms. Provides technology solutions to daily issues and technical evaluation estimates on technology initiatives. Experience with Swift or other money movement systems in a Mutual Fund/Banking Industry including knowledge of policies and procedures around those functions. Engages senior management on technical strategy, risk assessment, and risk management for projects. Mentors junior team members.u00A0 The Skills You Bring You have shown ability to perform independent, complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives. Your analytical and problem-solving abilities set you apart. You have strong collaboration, communication and engagement skills and can articulate and document business/system requirements. You have hands on Java/JEE and Open-Source skills with the ability to build complex web systems from ground up or interfacing with existing systems. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
